In February 2023, the Nelson Mandela Foundation and the Early Care Foundation launched the ECD Forum Leadership Pilot Programme to unlock the leadership potential of ECD Forums. With participation from 13 forums across Gauteng, the program spanned 18 days, including workshops and tailored site visits. Participants crafted project proposals, and 4 forums received funding for their initiatives. Now, the finalized course material is open-source, empowering the wider ECD sector to drive meaningful progress.
