For companies seeking to earn BEE points The Early Care Foundation offers a range of BEE donor options:
Enterprise Development (BEE Code 600):
The Early Care Foundation Enterprise Development model develops, or creates, a crèche in an underprivileged area into a successful and sustainable entity, providing high quality ECD care to the children, and through our training programmes, employment for the community.
All our beneficiaries are the so called Category ‘A’ which enables the donor to claim 125% of their contributions. Together with the 18A tax benefits the The Early Care Foundation model is one of the lowest cost per BEE point options available.
Socio-Economic Development (BEE Code 700):
All The Early Care Foundation’s activities qualify, as a minimum, for BEE SED contributions. Together with the 18A tax receipt this is a highly cost effective model from a donor point of view.
Ownership (BEE Code 100):
From 2012 The Early Care Foundation is now offering Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment ownership scheme to companies operating within South Africa. In this scheme The Early Care Foundation owns shares in the company who receives BEE points under the Code 100 BEE pillar. This is a really exciting scheme. Contact The Early Care Foundation for further details.
The Early Care Foundation now has 92 home crèches on its 3 year “Incubation Programme”.
